Robert Bateman

Robert Bateman has been connected with the Beckett family since 1971 when, as a an emerging artist, Robert approached us to have his art represented by Beckett Gallery. The Gallery was instrumental in launching Robert’s international career. Thomas L. Beckett and Robert Bateman enjoyed a long standing friendship, partnership and love of nature and art.

Currently living on Salt Spring Island, Robert Bateman at 95 continues to be passionate about nature conservation and creating new works.

To commemorate his long standing connection to, and appreciation of Beckett galleries, and the gallery’s 60th year in fine art, Robert has provided new art works to Beckett Fine Art.
