From Robert Bateman:

Lions residing in the Samburu region of Kenya are part of a unique ecosystem, characterized by stark landscapes and diverse wildlife. These majestic predators have adapted to the semiarid environment, hunting in prides and often preying on herbivores such as zebras and antelopes native to the area. Samburu lions are known for their impressive size and strength, as well as their social structure, which involves complex interactions within the pride. The region is notable for its conservation efforts, helping to protect these lions and their habitat from threats such as poaching and human-wildlife conflict.

How many lions do you see in this painting? The answer is four.
