Vincent Bomberry

Vincent Bomberry, a resident Indigenous artist of Ohsweken, Ontario, had his first exhibition at Beckett Fine Art in 1997 and continues to show his work across Canada and the United States.

Bomberry is a self-taught stone and steel sculptor whose work is distinguished by his use of monumental scale to maximize impact for the viewer. Expressing and commenting on contemporary aboriginal experiences, his works often play between abstraction and representation.

Bomberry’s permanent collection resides at several Canadian galleries including: Canadian Museum of Civilization, Quebec Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, Woodland Cultural Centre and the Thunder Bay Art Gallery.
