Mary Prittie
RCA, CSPWC, OSA
Mary Prittie (1908-1999) famously painted the Welland Canal and the Niagara Region.. In this collection, her work depicts images of lakers on the canal, swimmers and playful images of farm animals.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous Canadian shows including the Art Gallery of Ontario, National Gallery , Ontario School of Art and the Royal Canadian Academy of Art (see biography for more details).
Beckett Fine Art is pleased to “re-introduce” Mary’s art. An accomplished and professionally trained artist, Mary was never one to consider selling her art. We are pleased that the Prittie family has entrusted Beckett Fine Art to share Mary’s works with our clients so that art enthusiasts can enjoy these fabulous Niagara images in their own collection.
Mary, a registered nurse, was a founding and life member of the Port Colborne Art Club,.
